Delicious Frizzled Salmon Recipe

OK, so…frizzled salmon?! Yep, frizzled salmon! Think about when you last had deep fried, well, anything. You know it’s going to be good, even if it’s not the healthiest cooking method. The sound of the sizzle as you carefully lower whatever it is into the hot oil is a sound like no other in the kitchen. Oh, the crackling and the bubbling ensures that whatever it is will be crispy and crunchy to the bite, and most likely moist and tender inside. Let’s assume we’re talking about salmon!

I checked Merriam-Webster and found the definition of frizzle. To frizzle means “to fry until crisp and curled; to cook with a sizzling noise”. In other words, we’re talking about deep-fat frying a salmon filet.

This method of cooking salmon is quick and very easy. The fish is merely deep fried and then sprinkled with seasoned salt as soon as it comes out. And if so desired, it can be enjoyed just like that. Accompaniments are not even necessary with frizzled salmon. But let’s make it interesting and dress it up a little bit. Some curb-appeal will make it even better as an overall experience.

Yep, you know it! Topped with a little pico and adorned with tortilla crisps over spring greens makes this one good looking dish. But wait, there’s one more thing. Some homemade tartar sauce would create just the right finishing touch.
